Damon K. Clark is a vocalist who can do it all. He is an experienced international vocalist and musician known for his lyrical sensitivity, extraordinary musical virtuosity, and variety. Few musicians can successfully perform R&B, Jazz, Neo-Soul, Pop, Folk, Singer-Songwriter, Opera, and classical music all at the same time, and Damon is one of them. He’s also a talented arranger and songwriter. Damon has performed as the opening act for Paula Cole, a one-time winner. Damon is an artist unlike any other, as he can harness his vast energy level and curiosity with his artistic gifts. He is a live concert and performance producer, a fine art enthusiast, and one of Dallas’ busiest and most sought-after vocal coaches. Damon’s goal is to help people make the most of their talents by providing vocal classes.
Damon K. Clark’s song ‘Holy‘ is a beautifully touching musical composition. The song combines classic gospel components with a more modern aesthetic, resulting in a song that is both beautiful and powerful in its impact. ‘Holy‘ is a genuinely magnificent work that exemplifies what a beautiful song can achieve: unparalleled musical emotion that surrounds the listener with all its magnificence. The delicate rhythms and voice notes are flawlessly composed, lifting you to insane levels, and convincing you that no greater perfection could exist. Transport to a ‘Holy’ State with Damon K. Clark’s New Release
Vocalist and Musician Damon K. Clark releases poetic and majestic new single ‘Holy’ which explores the empowerment and beauty of a past relationship.
Uplifting, angelic synth chords laced with gorgeous harmonies create an ethereal atmosphere, replicating the ‘umbilical high’ of a loving relationship. When discussing the inspiration behind the track, Clark states that “There’s a beauty in feeling completely vulnerable yet also fully empowered…almost worshiped as something holy”. I felt the passion that radiates throughout the track as the effortless vocals alternate between spoken word and flawless riffs, displaying Clark’s range. Moreover, the female backing vocals elevate the track to a new dimension, you could say, a ‘holy’ state. The star of this track is the narration as listeners witness vulnerable story-telling that perfectly describes an accepting relationship that can feel like an out of body experience. Furthermore, Clark manages to emulate a sense of peace which is referenced in lyrics such as ‘when we’re together I find veritable peace so effortlessly’ which left me feeling very calm after the first listen.
Clark has successfully displayed his spectacular understanding of a multitude of genres, singing R&B, Jazz, Neo-Soul, Pop and even Opera in a singular show. With 40,000 followers on instagram and nearly 20,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, Clark already has a reputable following and has opened for artists including Paula Cole and Jen Kirkman. I look forward to any upcoming projects within the near future.

Damon K. Clark channels pure love energy on new single, Holy
Setting the vibe with a celestial synth and enigmatic keys, Damon K. Clark opens his latest release Holy with the lyrics, “I wake up next to you and you look at me like I’m a prize possession, when I ask you what you’re thinking you don’t hesitate to make a full confession…” The rising artist from Dallas paints us a picture of a healthy and loving relationship and how it feels like pure God energy. Damon K. Clark‘s flow is exquisite and conscious as he recounts the romantic and sensual experiences with his muse. Holy features textures epic choral vocals which really give rise to the holy energy that connects the protagonists of the story. Speaking on the track, Damon says, “Holy is lyrical exploration of what it meant to be when I felt seen and empowered by a lover for the very first time.”
The rising artist continues, “Holy is a musical/lyrical exploration of a past relationship. I just happened to be reminiscing on how different it was from other relationships I’d been in. It was really something to feel completely seen, accepted, and empowered by a lover for the very first time. There’s a beauty in feeling completely vulnerable yet also fully empowered…almost worshiped as something holy. So I started writing and here we are.” A cosmic lyrical highlight is “We find ourselves in a place where time and space, transcends the limitations of this feeble minded-human race, without a trace of hallowed bigotry and hate, we won’t tolerate the intolerable so those heathens we extricate, from our sacred domain”, which demonstrates the escapism we feel when we are entwined with someone else in authentic love energy.
Damon has opened for multi-time Grammy award nominee and one-time winner Paula Cole, and we love the way he fuses R&B, Jazz, Neo-Soul, Pop, Folk, singer-songwriter, Opera and classical music so flawlessly in his discography.

Damon K Clark is a vocalist and musician with an impressive vocal range and versatile sound. Stylistically he is able to tastefully perform R&B, Jazz, Neo-Soul, Pop, Folk, singer-songwriter, and Opera. “Random Lover” displays his strong grasp of R&B, ambience, 80s synthwave, pop, and some traces of trap with the drum programming, eventually arriving at a truly unique sound with great composition. Synth pads and keys create a dreamy ambiance with reverberated chords and a clean cutting drum beat where the hi-hat slices on the top end. This all provides a lot of space for Damon’s voice to carry the load for the track. It is a powerful and capturing voice that demands your attention and the production on this tune is very smart in allowing Clark’s voice to not be masked by any other frequencies.
The song’s prowess excels in its songwriting. Each section is memorable and provides momentum going into the chorus, where the apex of the dynamics and energy offers an impressive blend of anthemic and smooth. The verses and bridges about the type of lover that is a waste of time and the yearning for the right one is all delivered with great melody writing. The verses start with attitude and the bridges render to a more delicate build, arriving at the falsetto ranged hook that will make you want to sing along, whether you’re single or with a significant other.
“Random Lover” has an ending that is a slow unravel, unwinding into a concluded time of 3:27, but due to the song’s lack of redundancy and dragged out sections, you’ll be shocked “Random Lover” was even that long.

There’s always a fresh amalgamation of style in Damon K Clark’s releases; with his latest single, 'Random Lover', he infused RnB, pop, and neo-soul into the ultimate moving on single. The cinematic release proves just how well-established Clark is as a composer and arranger; from the verse, you’re hooked in by the scorned yet searching for something better narrative as the sultry beats do more than set the mood and tone. Rebound hookups may not be the most romantic things in the world but Clark more than makes them more than so in 'Random Lover'. It drips with elevated elegance. 'Random Lover' is now available to stream on all platforms, including SoundCloud.

Contemporary ballad-style Soul Pop doesn’t come much more captivatingly efficacious than Damon K. Clark’s latest single “Love Me Now”. Through the directness of the lyrics, Love Me Now feels like a confession straight from the soul. The opening verse pulls you into an evocatively piercing soundscape which utilizes soft percussion, nuancedly spellbinding lyrics, and crescendos which will make your own soul recognize the pure unadulterated emotion in the single.
There may be plenty of old school sonorous appeal in Love Me Now, but the Dallas-based artist’s contribution to the airwaves still carries ample amounts of contemporary appeal.
You can listen to Damon K. Clark’s mesmerizingly evocative single Love Me Now by heading over to SoundCloud. Keep up to date with the artist’s latest releases via Instagram.
“Love Me Now” uncovers a singer-songwriter unafraid to display the cracks in his facade, crafting a striking portrait of what happens when true love fails to materialize. The beautiful and hypnotic record focuses on Damon K Clark’s hushed voice and simple, soulful lyrics. The music itself is a pastel tapestry woven from the threads of early ’2000s pop and stitched into a unique pattern. It blends vulnerability with heartbreak as Damon describes an all-to-familiar situation which makes him feel alone, but ready to move on.
“Love Me Now” evokes the spiraling crisis of the mind when faced with relationship struggles. Throughout the song, Damon tries to pinpoint the source of his anxieties, investigating his relationship with substance, with his romantic partner, and with himself. He does this with heart-wrenching clarity on the ballad, wondering if everything was genuine. His voice never rises above a murmur as he draws you in, but when he belts out his voice rings with deep emotion.
Ultimately, Damon reaches a cathartic breaking point at the end, with a rattling breakdown filled with bobbing drums and dramatic synth stabs. In the midst of all that, he sings as if he’s the only one listening. He shatters the box that confined him from realizing true happiness, that small, unassuming space—where emotions swell but never burst. Lifting the most effective ideas from different schools of production, he’s able to construct his own mutant strain of pop.
“Love Me Now” is surely immersive, from its sound design to its melody. Damon himself handles the lyrics, music, and arrangement while it’s produced by Brandon Saiz, mixed by Joey Lomas and mastered by Dave McNair. Singing his way through the thoughts of fumbled romance, Damon seems invigorated by abandoning the pursuit, perhaps it’s this liberation that allows him to write a brilliant song. He’s walked a fine line between approaching these self-destructive figures with empathy and pity, which is why this record feels like a long-held exhalation.
